How much does Get4It cost to use?
Get4It is free to use, no strings attached.
We have implemented research functionality which will allow sellers to price and research hundreds of even thousands of items at a time.
Our ResearchIt services will be subscription based. Currently in beta and FREE.
How do I search for an item?
In the orange box on every page is a text box where you can type in what you are searching for
and click the "PriceIt" button. Advanced search techniques can be found on the Search Help page.
Is Get4It a tool for people looking to buy on eBay or to sell on eBay?
Both. Buyers can use the site to know what price they should bid up to, or if a particular item is a good deal.
Sellers can use the site to help determine what an item should sell for before listing.
What does the chart on the "eBay Items Graph" tell me?
The chart plots the ending prices of a random sampling of sold and unsold items based on the day they sold.
It is useful for visually seeing at what price items sell for, what prices they don't sell for, and how
selling prices have varied over time. Place your mouse over any of the price points to see the item's title.
Why don't you show the sell-through rate of an appraised item?
We Do. Look just below the eBay Items (Selling Range) title and you will see the percentage of sold.
Example Search for Ipod:
27% Of 442764 Items Selling for Average Price of $55
As you can see it shows you the percentage of items that sold (i.e. the sell through rate), the total number of items found and the average selling price.

What is the Current Web Items tab for? Where does it take me?
The Current Web Items tab gives you the option of looking at items that match your search from merchants all over the web.
Current Web Items page features:
- Average price of the items returned in the search
- Total number of items found
- Lists the merchants which have items (right side of page)
- Gives you the option to limit your search by a specific merchant (Click the merchant name)
- Link directly to the most competativly priced item
What is the Current Amazon Items tab for?
The Current Amazon Items tab gives you the option of looking at items that match your search from Amazon.
Current Web Items page features:
- Lists the categories which have items, % of match in that category, and the total number of items matching your search in that category (right side of page)
- Gives you the option to limit your search by a specific category (Click the category name)
- Link directly to the most competativly priced item on Amazon
